“Overall great day and experience, thought there mite be a little bit more trekking involved but what we did was great as we seen a gibbon and a green snake. Our guide Neena was cheeky and brilliant and really made the day. Beautiful scenery and lovely organic coffee. The only slight negative was the very erratic driving by our driver who wanted to over take anything and everything on the road. But all in all would recommend this trip.”

“We had a great experience! The hike was wonderful with our local guide. It is a legit hike, not just walking between the activities which some tours pass off as a hike. Beautiful scenery! The hike was not difficult, but took about an hour and a half and we got to see a waterfall, the mountains, and the rice fields. Everything else was good too, but the hike was the highlight! The guide is the driver for this tour, so some of the transitions are slightly slower than tours with a separate driver, but not sure it would have helped much as the park has certain policies with vehicles for…”

“Despite the heavy rain, we had a fantastic trip! Our guide, Bobo ( I hope that is correct) was so cheerful and an excellent guide. The forest and thewaterfalls were incredible! We loved the trek through the jungle. Our local guide pointed out several snakes and interesting plants. It was great to see the rice fields as well. We enjoyed trying the teas and coffee at the coffee house. Would definitely recommend this trip.”

“We really enjoyed our trip today to Mae Kampong. Nee and Golf were great guides and hosts and made us feel very welcome! We saw the gibbons and enjoyed learning about different plants. When our son did not feel so well they kindly adjusted the programme a bit so he could still participate. It was great to get out of the city and be in nature with a bit cooler temperatures!”

“Some strenuous walking involved. A magnificent experience with a knowledgeable friendly guide steeped in local Buddhist history and Buddhist precepts. He was a former monk. Recommend wearing a face mask in the red truck to avoid gas fumes. Five in our group.”

“Lovely day- From the hotel to the Elephant Sanctuary (no riding, elephants seem loved and well cared for). We received safety instructions and learnt a bit about elephants. Got to feed them, walk with them and take some photos before bathing (not forced and they stay in for as long as they like). There are two babies, and they were so lovely to just watch them as they played with once another and followed their moms around. The bamboo rafting was actually super fun, as you go along the river you pass by other elephant sanctuaries and see elephants and see the landscape. Waterfall is fun, slightly steep steps down…”
